WKO serves six rural, impoverished and socially-isolated counties in Missouri. The target population includes pregnant women and children. WKO provides its services to make immediate and long-term impacts. WKO focuses on at-risk groups such families who live in poverty; families with histories of (or on-going) abuse and neglect; pregnant and parenting teens, as well as first-time parents.
